We had a Wildly Successful Wild West Summer Camp!
Our Campers lived the ways of the Old West, by learning pioneer games and crafts, visiting with live farm animals, learning about native plants, visiting the schoolhouse, learning to line dance, and interacting with specially-skilled guests in roping, woodworking, and so much more!
Much gratitude to returning Co-Directors, Board President Tina McEnroe and educator Donna Davidson.
Thank you to our wonderful presenters: Gary and Nita Stanke, Ramon Becerra (2025 honored Vaquero), singer/guitarist Ashley Fletcher, Terry Handy of Dana Adobe, and Randy Jones and his petting farm animals!
Many thanks to our sponsors: Santa Ynez Valley Foundation and Solvang Rotary.
We had a special day at Pleasant Valley School House, where we met falconer Sarah Pereverziev and the Mule Man, Uncle Blacky.
We were blessed with beautiful days and cool weather all week, but were prepared for the sun with courtyard canopies and misters compliments of Charlotte Becerra and Lisa Lyons – a cool thank you to you both!
Campers enjoyed daily snacks of Tri-Berry Lemonade Slushies and Fresh Popcorn from the Cretor Wagon, compliments of Museum staff.
MORE thanks to our scholarship donor, Board President Tina McEnroe, a natural-born educator, whose generosity is exemplary!
